Thus spake Mr Darcy, in Pride and Prejudice.  Our own Mr Darcy is similarly young, tall, dark, and handsome…  An athletic young man, looking for life time companionship with his future loving family.  He is Airedale-sized, and has everything to learn, but is fun and sweet and will make a great companion.   Need we say any more?

Spaniard Mr Darcy came to our attention earlier in August, who we moved to kennels from a perrera and is now safe, fostered in Norfolk. 

He is a wonderful, happy, lust for life kind of dog.  He is young (approx a year old) and ready for the big wide world.  He is a lurcher type cross and has quite the need/joy of running – he is into everything and is quite cheeky.  He will need an active family and one that is ready to help him become a pet.  He is larger – approx an Airedale height – but on the athletic side.  He did suffer a swelling in his elbow when he arrived from Spain – this has gone down but he will need a very comfy sofa to rest on from now on.  

We are looking for a family that has had bigger dog experience and one that is quite bouncy and cheeky.  If not, he will run circles round you.  Personally we think he is a doll and want the perfect family for him.  He has never really lived as a pet so will need some guidance.  But he is a sweet, lovely boy – dog and people friendly. He is fully vaccinated, with his passport, neutered and blood tested.  

Mr Darcy is looking for a good sense of humour, and lots of cuddles in his ideal furever family.   He has also expressed an appreciation for big soft sofas to relax on.
