Millie – Border Collie

We were made aware of a pair of dogs living in terrible conditions – their owner passed and the wife was no longer able or willing to care for these dogs.  They have lived in a kennel outdoors their whole lives and have never had the kindness and care they deserved.

Millie is 12 – she has numerous health problem we are addressing slowly (bad teeth, arthritis, poor fur condition, ear problems and the list goes on) She has been a working dog – and as such was never walked on lead or use to wearing a collar.

Her kennel mate was a Patterdale Terrier – so we took the two as a pair – but they do not need to be rehomed together.

What we have learnt about Millie – she is the sweetest most gentle dog – she just wants love and attention – she will walk well on lead – but follows you if off lead – she has been fine with all dogs and could benefit from a companion in her new home

She is an old girl – so we are looking for a retirement home for her.  Somewhere calm where she live out her days with love and affection.

She will require a lot of veterinary care to get her right – so please go to our donation page if you wish to help towards her costs.

if you are interested in providing her a forever retirement home please go to our FAQs page and complete our questionnaire

These are the kennels she was living in:

we will add more photos as we get to know her and has had more tic in kennels
